Filing a Police Report

In order to make the process of filing a police report more convenient, the Sheriff asks that persons (who reside in the communities that we patrol) call the Sheriff’s Dispatch Center directly, rather than making the drive to the Sheriff’s Office on Elizabeth Road in Mt. Clemens.

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office provides primary policing services in the following communities:

  1. Harrison Township
  2. Lenox Township
  3. Macomb Township
  4. Mt. Clemens
  5. New Haven
  6. Washington Township

If you have an EMERGENCY, call “911” for immediate assistance.

If you live in one of these communities, and wish to file a police report THAT IS NOT AN EMERGENCY, please call the Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center at (586) 469-5502.

We will send a car to your address to take the complaint.
